Trademark Registration

For a meagre fee of Rs.500/- one can verify the availabilty of its business logo or name with the trademark department.
After assuring oneself that no conflicting trademark is registered earlier, the application can be filed for registration for Rs.2500/-. The department then publishes these application for general public and waits for any objections before issuing the trademark to the applicant.
